Stella Vognar's creative work explores art with an emphasis on usefulness. "I make things that reflect my natural surroundings and are inherently useful. My goal is to create pieces that keep the idea of beauty in function alive."
Her award-winning work has been displayed at the Pumphouse Regional Arts Center in La Crosse and at the Driftless Art Festival in Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin. She is represented in museums and art galleries nationally and maintains a studio in Joshua Tree, California.
Ms. Vognar is a former faculty member at UW La Crosse and still teaches a variety of art classes, including graphic arts.
